Break habitual thinking with quality questions

The questions we ask ourselves, the thoughts we think, and the actions we take determine what we actually create in our life. A reflective process where we ask ourselves quality questions on a daily basis is an ideal way to keep ourselves in check and make sure we are moving forward rather than remaining static or even moving backwards.

What worked for me today? What would I do differently?  What was that new insight or an awareness I picked up?

Asking questions like this at the end of each day can produce amazing insights. If we can get into a habit of asking those questions of ourselves at the end of each day it is amazing the insights that we get.

We are creatures of habit. Most of us have breakfast the same way every morning, go the same way to work, have similar conversations with people, read similar books, watch the same types of movies, and so we create a way of being. If we don’t question these habits and routines and dig little deeper to explore what’s improving in our lives, we just keep getting more of the same old results out of life.

One of my favourite sayings is, “In order for things to change, first I must change.” So this week, I invite you to be really conscious of what are you thinking about and the questions you are asking yourself. It’s a great habit to develop so why not start now?
